Sunnyside Care Center is actively looking for an activities aide to join our activities team. As an activities aide, you will be responsible to help engage and support our activities department by carrying out daily activities and documenting on resident engagement and participation. The activities aide plays a key role in creating a positive patient experience. In this role, you will assume assist the activities director with the overall assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of resident activities on the units to help facilitate and deliver comprehensive quality care and to manage the environment in which care is given.
The activities aide will also assist the team in maintaining high standards of patient safety, privacy, care and cleanliness. Previous experience in a medical setting and as a activities aide is required for this position.
